more good websites

I should have posted this along with my plug for Starfall the other day.  Back in my teaching days, I highlighted a different website each week in my newsletter so that parents would have a lot to choose from.  Here is a list of some of my favorite educational sites.  They range in activities from preschool to grade 2 or 3. Enjoy!
  1. www.earobics.com/gamegoo/gooey.html
  2. www.pbskids.org
  3. http://funschool.kaboose.com/
  4. www.sesameworkshop.org/
  5. www.funbrain.com
  6. www.abcya.com/
  7. http://kinderwebgames.com/index.html
  8. www.seussville.com
  9. www.ixl.com/ (math practice)
  10. www.fisher-price.com/
  11. www.learninggamesforkids.com/
  12. www.berenstainbears.com
  13. www.scholastic.com/parents/play/games/
  14. http://classroom.jc-schools.net/basic/math-time.html (math games)
  15. www.buildyourwildself.com/
  16. www.arkive.org/education/games
  17. www.internet4classrooms.com/k12links.htm (this site may seem not very user friendly, but it seriously has links for every state standard k-12.  It’s an amazing resource, though it takes a bit to navigate)
Ok, I’m sure there’s more.  But my brain is tired.  Goodnight!
