Christmas {part 1}

There’s so much to write about for Christmas this year, I’ll need to break it down into several posts.  First, here’s just a little of the decor we did this year: On Sunday, December 15th I put the kiddos in their fancy x-mas outfits so we could get 2 wears out of them, one here and one in Peoria.  Owen and his Sunday school class came in and sang one song in “big church.” Not a bad family picture of all 5 of us. :)

Sunday Funday

It was unseasonably warm today so after church, we decided to make a very spontaneous decision and get lunch and head to Hessel Park.

 

 

We picked up Panera and ate at a picnic table and then played well into nap time.  As we started to drive home, we realized we had not gone to Custard Cup once this summer, so we pulled in and enjoyed some delicious lemon custard!

 

 

 

 

What a fun fun way to spend a Sunday together as a fam!

After church today, we decided to use a giftcard to Destihl in downtown Champaign.  It was a delicious lunch.  William's french toast was amazing and Owen's "kid" pizza was huge.  They were all looking so cute, we just had to document the time.

Sweet girl has had a really bad case of eczema the last couple weeks. I've never had anything like this and Owen didn't either. But thanks to a doctor's visit and help from a couple friends who have kiddos with it, her skin is looking and feeling a ton better!
