Easter Egg Hunt

Today we were SO excited to see the sun!  Yes, it was still chilly but considering we are supposed to get 6 inches of snow tomorrow, we were getting outside!  We bundled up and headed to the park where there was supposed to be an Easter Egg hunt (like we did last year).  We started seeing tons of cars coming back towards us.  Someone stopped and told us there were signs saying the egg hunt had been moved to the Savoy Rec Center.  Even though the Rec Center is pretty close, it would have been lots of work to get back to the house and load up in the car.  So I just continued onto the park with the kids.  And William ran home to hide the Easter eggs I had already filled.Once we were able to drag Owen away from the park, we surprised him with eggs hidden all over the yard.  William did a great job spreading them out.  It took him a minute to figure out what to do and then he was so excited trying to find them all! Then we went inside and checked out his loot.  The 2 cars he got (a couple from the Cars movie that he didn’t have yet) have not left his hand all day.  And they are still tucked into bed with him.We’re really looking forward to more Easter fun next weekend in Peoria!
